It’s a sad day hearing of the death of Australian aboriginal musician, singer, songwriter and health advocate Jimmy Little after a long battle against illness. For many, like me, will remember growing up with the only Aboriginal star on the Australian music scene.
He was a member of the Yorta-Yorta tribe and was born at the Cummeragunja Mission settlement near Echuca, on the NSW side of the Murray River IN 1937.
The Jimmy Little Foundation has been established with a mission to facilitate nutritional education and advocate for better health services for indigenous Australians in communities.
Inspirational to many…
Thoughts and best wishes
